David,

What's up with that last wave in the expert level Looking Glass? I have an awesome configuration that wipes out the first 13 waves fine, and some of those waves are pretty tough. But then the last wave seems all but impossible. These blistering fast stars fly through the maze as if completely unphased by everything out there. And I have every kind of tower in place. They seem to literally fly through unscathed and they all make it to the end. Dude, that's rude. Be a nice guy and give up a hint on how the hell we're supposed to take out that last wave, cause otherwise you've just thrown in a level that's unbeatable, and that's downright mean.

Personally, I thought this

Personally, I thought this was one of the easiest levels in the game, it should probably be in the easy or medium sections, not hard.

Taking out the last wave wasn't too difficult, a highly upgraded shock tower or two should slow down enough of them to kill most of them.  Taking out ALL of them, to beat the level perfect, is a bit trickier, since they are so fast that one or two can usually make it through, but just not losing the level shouldn't be tough.

Well, I agree with your

Well, I agree with your opinion if we consider only the first 13 levels. The fourteenth one is what makes it a killer level, in my opinion. I had four highly upgraded shock towers along the path, and they didn't seem to slow down the star-creeps in the 14th level at all, thus my frustration. I can't say for certain they were  upgraded to the max, though, so you've given me some hope, here. Thanks. I'll try it again and make sure  those towers have maximum bling.

If you had four, that's too

If you had four, that's too many.  The shock upgrades are expensive in this level, so you probably didn't have any to level 7, or if you did then you didn't have enough money in other towers.

Try to find a solution with just one shock tower, level 7.

OK. I need your help, then. I can't remember my configuration that kicked ass in the first 14 waves, so I've somehow taken a step backwards. You said this is easy? Could you share some insight into the magical configuration you are using that makes this level so easy for you? I've become obsessed with it.

Just judging by your comments, I expect you are making the creeps go around the outside of the map...

Instead, make them go up the middle.  Follow the contour of the orange "pyramid" and then go up.  And remember thumpers on the endcaps are most effective.

Thanks. I was making the creeps go around the perimiter. I tried your suggestions; better but I'm still far from beating the level. I guess I'm missing some key piece of strategy. Oh well, hopefully someone will post a screenshot of a wining configuration on the web. Hate cheating but I've given this way too many tries, and I'm starting to get awfully frustrated.

Holy @#$%! That was easy!

Holy @#$%! That was easy! Jeesh. My last few configurations based on your earlier recommendation to go up the middle were so similar to what's in your screenshot, yet the creeps kept kicking my ass. Amazing how some minor differences in tower layouts and upgrades can make a world of difference. I got it on the first try with your configuration. THANKS!
