Hi,

Hard level 10 Crazy88's can be played long enough to overflow score counter.

It will be turned minus when overflowed and the result will not be recorded as highscore(it wil not be submitted to OpenFeint if you have any PLUS former results).

It will be better to expand the score limit.

Score Overflow problem

Yikes...

I apologize for my ineptitude in not catching that problem before.  No testers got anywhere near that high.  I'll be working to fix it for the next update.  I do worry, however, if OF can handle that size of a score.  I'll check with them.

Anyway OF is pretty nice system. I'm enjoying to see how many player get through H8 Slightly Buggy. (It's really tough!)

Did you have to do anything special for OF to handle larger scores?  What does it use, a 64-bit int?

I find it interesting to see

I find it interesting to see that you haven't used a single purple tower to get that high score.

As several users on this forum and others have pointed out, I too have found zero use for them, as there is always another tower that is better.

It even seems as the designer acknowledges this on the very level pictured above, since all special towers are very expensive apart from the purple one.

Actually I owned a L6 or 7 purple tower at the early stage for bule circle enemy. When I had enough money to buy a blue laser, I sold it. Yes, Blue and Red tower are far strong and also their sound is quite cool!

was the score bug fixed in the new update?

just wondering cuz I dont wanna play the endless hard level anymore if my score cant go over 2 something billion, that was my fave too ::(

 

anychance we can up the score size all together, what if I get to 999,999,999,999, does the score just stop or does it reset or go negative or something Dave?

I know the score was fixed so it wouldnt go negative. But now my high score doesn't update on hard endless. Ive played it a few times and it never updates with high score. Any idea when it will be fixed?

I have the same problem.  I

I have the same problem.  I hit 2.8 Billion and then 3.8 Billion on two separate occasions.  At the end I have the option to "tap to continue" or "open feint".  The first time I just hit tap to continue and was returned to the main screen with my score not recorded on feint nor on my iphone.  I played it again and hit "open feint" this time and I get the usual screens, with the score not recorded yet again.
