David Whatley: Yup, I added the Swarm Creep. It looks like, well, a swarm... of something... somewhat indistinct as individual creeps. They are unique in that they love laser energy... so much so it heals them. Worse, if you zap them too much with your Laser Towers they even multiply! Which might or might not be a bad thing, given creeps are worth cash when you kill them, right?

So David, whats the working strategy to kill these Swarm Creeps?
You should follow me on twitter here!
Use a different tower...
You recommend: "use a different tower"!
True enough.
The problem is that all the "different towers" you recommend have different unknown specialities in different uploadstages. Especially the Thump Tower, which emits shockwaves of damage against anything that strays too close - thought theoretically.
I would know a little bit more regarding that very abilities. Reviewers mention very different gaming experiences with the Thump Tower. Ranging from not working at all till working excellent when placed in pairs opposite on the track in different upgrade stages.
Any usable hint on that?
I think David mentioned somwhere using them as "end caps." Basically, the more path-hexes they're directly touching, the more damage they're going to do. If they are only touching two path hexes, they will only damage creeps in those two hexes; but, if you place it at the end of a tower run where you make your creeps do a u-turn and it's touching five path hexes instead of two, you just upgrades your thump tower's efficiency by 2.5x.
I think I'm understanding this right. I think the confusion is stemming from the fact that the tower's "trigger radius" seems to be much larger than its actual damage radius. From what I understand, damage occurs ONLY to hexes touching the tower's hex.
The thump towers thump away regardless of if anythig is nearby. I did this because it looked pretty. :) Maybe that's confusing... sorry about that. I'll fix it if you think that's needed.
But yes, they damage one hex away. Seems weak, but it's not. Position them such that you funnel creeps around them. Use in groups, and combine with shock towers if you can. A single thump tower can harm more than one creep at a time, plus if you have a creep do a big arc around one it can get hit multiple times.
