Hi there.

I enjoy the GDS game and would like to throw out a suggestion for a, hopefully, minor change to the game.  I'd love to be able to pause the game without the menu being displayed.  Maybe press pause once to freeze the action.  Press pause again to get the menu.  To resume the game, perhaps a swipe or something.

It would be nice to be able to study the game board, to understand where things are going wrong, or to see where improvements can be made without having to try and see past the menu buttons.

Like I said, I enjoy the game.  With or without a change like this, I'll still be playing it.  = )

Cheers

This very topic has been discussed before (http://criticalthoughtgames.com/node/58).

The solution David went with in the update was to add the extra-long delay for the first wave to allow for some preemptive stage study.

My guess is, the ability to pause and study would take away from the frantic feeling of the game.  I liked the pause idea, too, though
